Hey there, I’m Monty.

I’m a Commonwealth-registered marriage celebrant and MC based in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley, and the 2025 ABIA NSW Celebrant of the Year.

I don’t think your ceremony should be something your favourite people sit through just to get to the good stuff. It should be the good stuff. It’s the springboard into an epic day nobody forgets, full of laughs and tears, cheers and good times.

I’m here to tell your story: how you met, where you’re at, and what’s next. It’s all about you, with none of the fluff.

In the lead-up to the big day, we’ll talk when we need to talk. When we don’t, I’ll leave you to it so you can work out which relatives make the guest list and what colour socks to wear.

It should go without saying, but I’ll say it anyway: love is love, and it’s for everyone. If you’re two adults who can legally marry and want to, then bloody hell, let’s make it happen.

One more thing. “Hilarious” Uncle Barry isn’t always the best pick to MC your reception, and sometimes your guests would rather just be guests. I MC too, so give me a holler.
